Came with no cylinder or head and no intake manifold or muffler, so I picked up a ruima 47mm cast iron "street race" kit... low miles but missing the tank and seat and rear panel when I got it. Gotta dellorto 17.5mm im gonna use on it, not sure what exhaust yet tho, maybe a stage 6 "street race" muffler don't need it crazy fast or loud just a little fun to ride. Image Image Image

I know right?!? Especially w the blue packaging on the box and the roll of wire.. weird.

Actually it's not that expensive of a kit, like $400 bucks for the bcd kit or so, plus some aerox or aprilia sr50 wheels and bars and it's basically it. Plastics are cheap and plentiful for this bike, it's just all over in Europe haha. I think I might go w all stock plastics but in one color like white, and drop it on 12" or "13 wheels. Still want drag bars or dirt bike bars tho. But before I do that I gotta get it running, im gonna be using this one as my daily I think, my other bikes needing a new motor or complete teardown (again).

Gonna get my brother to fab me up a stretch mount for it, like 4"-6" I think. Should be enough of a stretch, this bike already has pretty open plastics.

I'm looking for a seat and a rear body cover and a pipe for a minarelli vert, if any body's got em.

Did some measuring, and it looks like the fork from my derbi gp1 might fit on this bike. I'm gonna pull it n see, cuz that might get me a little closer to my goal! 13" w disc brake and a cool fender.

Just ordered up an intake mani w reeds and a seat from a 2001 zuma 2. Bout to get a leo vince tt or stage 6 street pipe to finish off the motor. Still need to order some body panels, but I wanna put that off cuz I might try to get the bcd kit.

Ya I might stick with stock plastics or maybe some tnt ones I found for my generation... I've got a derbi gp1 i might use for parts on it to get the cool wheels and motor n stuff. I'm definately not gonna go all out and buy an aerox motor for it. I really just wanna drop it on 12" or 13" wheels and use it as my daily driver. I just got a seat and a "big valve" Taiwanese intake and reed valve. I'm gonna use a pwk carb I think, or find an adapter for the dellorto phbg 17.5mm I got. Still need a pipe, cooling shroud and rear body cover n I'm riding!

I love those kits, they look hot... I might have to save my pennies. Thanks for the pics g9. How bad was the mbk booster/newer bws panel swap? Any serious bracketry to be made?I've been pricing it out and it won't be TOO crazy price-wise to copy the bcd bike if I go cheap, but still gonna be like $1-2k I think. I'm gonna try to use all my "special pile" of scooter parts on this one haha.

I was also thinking of doing street tires on the stock wheels and stock panels, and doing an urban-adventure bike kinda thing. I'm looking for a daily rider n I don't think dropping it on 12" or 13" wheels and low pro race tires will help that function.

I like the stock look too haha. I say put some of those nice street tires like on that white BCD one you showed as an example. Drop it low, fresh paint (i even like the blue n white) and RIDE OUT!
