I've already posted about my Elite in other threads, but now I've decided to make one only for my scooter. So far I've gotten it fully derestricted, painted rims, and got new tires. I plan on adding more mods later on. Any suggestions for cheaper mods? I have thought about changing all the light bulbs to LEDs.

Kymco made a version of this bike that had a different taillight, looked alot cleaner. I think it's on scooterswapshop.com

Lowering and stretching of scooters kills the suspension.
That's okay if you intend to use the scooter as a race-bike on the drag strip.
That's horrible if you want to ride the street safely.
Consider the results before you chop...mm... :urban:

Agreed, my spree has like a 3inch stretch and its night and day to stock. It made the bike feel more stable but it bottoms out hard. I personaly like the higher up look it looks aggressive.

I didn't really plan on stretching or lowering it. I think it makes the scooter look weird when it's stretched

It makes it look weird yes, but it does add a lot of stability at speed. So for people who wanna hit 45+ on the short spree buid it gets sketch either way but a 6 inch stretch would make the bike more stable.

When I was lowered I had a problem bottoming out, but once I went hard suspension it was alot better actually. The big deal w lowering is height and clearance, but when it's smooth it rides around corners w/o leaning anywhere near as much, and these small tires like to break free when you lean to far over and you weigh over the scooters max carrying weight (like me). I like staying upright haha.

these are MUCH nicer than the ones that were floating around in the past.
If I install a JDM light, will there still be a place to put a license plate because they are required where I live.
