Overall, the plastics on my spree are in really good shape. just a couple of very small cracks. Luckily, I work at a polyethylene pipe manufacturer and have access to an extrusion welder. I will try to make this work to repair the small cracks. Can I get some advice on how to repair several small pcs of the body that have broken? things like the in the picture. these are the small pegs on the front cover.

Goop it on around the busted tabs, sand if needed.

It should work for most all plastics problems. The peg in the image though, looks to be real bad, kind of hard to tell from the picture. It should work for you though. If not, you're gonna have to buy a new one. Fortunately, you can get those pretty cheap on eBay. Probably find quite a few on here who have one to spare as well.

Those parts, you have two options:

1) Try to fix the peg and glue in place. You can reinforce with epoxy putty since it's not a show surface.
2) Replace plastic pin with same size metal pin. A machine screw threaded through hole where peg used to be should hold, esp if you glue threads in with epoxy.

Predict that #1 won't hold, so do #2.

does anyone know EXACTLY what kind of plastic the body pcs are made of. I'm assuming that the floorboard is a different plastic than the panels. I have worked in plastics for 13 years and may be able to find some pretty gnarly industry stuff for repairs. I just need to know what they are made of. I'm assuming the floorboard is polyethylene. whether it's LDPE or HDPE I'm not sure.

I would just jb weld it, that panal dosnt take much force unless your hitting a tree, so dont hit trees and your good.

Ive heard that the front and side panals are abs infused with fiberglass. Idk dosnt sound right.

I think there should be a letter markings on the back of the panel?

Meatball, my 13 years have been at an HDPE pipe and fittings manufacturer. We had a sister company for a long time that speacialized in sheet plastic. They did alot of rotational molding and thermoforming. I still know all the guys that work in their fabrication department so they would be my resource on repairing the panels. If you wanted to build a scooter out of pipe....... I'm your man

Another way to fix plastics is to drill a small hole through the pin and another through the panel. Find a small nail or other item to make a pin (a small brad works well). Liberally coat both pins with Super Glue, coat both plastic parts liberally, and glue back together with pin in panel and inserted into the post.
Gives the post much more strength. I would gob up with JB Weld since it does not show.
