Nice bikes, I love the white ones.

Thanks!! Your right! These are too clean for shoes! :) Some rubber floor mats sure would be nice

Completed them a few weeks ago. They turned out beautiful. A job well done.

Greetings:

I can hear the drip-drip of Soichiro-san weeping Tears of Joy from the Great Beyond. Nice that you used fence planks to bridge the messy gap from grass to concrete pad. One mustn't sully the pristine Dunlop rubber.

Now somebody get Jerz a couple of petcock covers, willya?!

I know right? A couple petcock covers and these will be very sweet restorations. I do happen to have a spare black one, but honestly, knowing how hard the dang things are to find and replace, I'm not so willing to part with it. I'd be willing to swap ya for a floor mat though, and even throw in a spare this or that you might need (how bout an SB50 intake and reeds??). I'm in need of one floor mat badly for my restore project.

Do you mind sharing what the cost was to have those panels professionally painted?

Yes the guy who did them for me charged me $200 to do them. That is however because he had me help with the prep work, and pretty much just charged me for the paint and his time. If you live near the Saginaw, Michigan area I can PM you his contact info.

I really enjoy the restoration projects. Especially being restored to their OEM glory is great. Don't get me wrong I really love the Dio swapped, slammed projects but these OEM type restorations seem more obtainable to me. Great inspiration as well, I always find myself going to work on my Spree's after viewing.

Very jealous. Isn't there a forum member that makes the petcock covers, along with gloveboxes and floor mats?

Can't speak for the other parts because I haven't bought any, but his floor mats look nicer then my original one. Well worth the investment if restoring a Spree.
