Redneck engineered cooling fan!

Post by Bignatertot »

I have rebuilt a stock spree to have a put put scooter to save me on gas... I have all the parts I need save one, a cooling fan for a 1984 nq50 motor. So, I thought I could make it out of a coffee can. This is what it looks like.

Please show follow-up pics on what happens when it flies apart and throws shrapnel all over. Hopefully, the rider doesnt get injured during this.

That thing might work fine as a fart fan in your bathroom or maybe to cool your desktop computer but wont hold up when spun 7000 rpms on your scooter....nice artwork piece tho!
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Greetings:

Meatball's objections notwithstanding, I cannot begin to understand the detail, care and attention that went into crafting that can into something useful. Whoa! Creole Roast may not be the right choice; consider Espresso?

I wonder if you could encase the metal in some kind of resin, Plasti-Dip or ?? to strengthen it. Do be careful when you fire it up. I'd bet there's an NQ fan sitting on someone's shelves on here somewhere.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.
