Yes, it is only slightly wider than the Spree engine. However you have to fabricate an engine mount.

Yes, the '83, '84, '86 and '87 more so than the '85 which has a not so upgradeable intake system.

Re: Aero 50 motor in a spree?
The Leo Vince SP3 is available for the af05 Aero 50 engines. I do not know of any pipe available for the '83-84 engines.ANDREW wrote:Ok cool also do you know if there is a tuned pipe available for the aero 50?
The engine mount will not be the same as the af16 if you were planning on using the same measurements but the skills needed will be the same.

There are more than two bores. I can pull three off the top of my head: Polini 47mm/65cc, CMR 46mm/63cc, Taz 44mm kit. I don't know if malossi still makes a kit but there are some sitting on a shelf that you see for sale every now and then.fastplastic wrote:theres not as many parts for the afo5 as the dio the afo5 has one maybe two bbks and a couple pipes the dio is way more upgradeable and can reach a lot higher speeds then the afo5 if thats what your looking for.....
