tube from air box connecting to carb.
i just picked up a new insulator and all new o rings and my spree will only go so fast before it starts to stall. so after spending all this money, i realized that the tube from the air box isnt snug on the carburetor, so its sucking too much air. another reason why i believe this is the problem is because it runs great when i put a sheet of static guard in between the carb and the tube. soooooo now that i figured it all out im happy, but i dont know what to do to fix it. ive tried duct tape but that didnt work. and the metal clamp ring or w/e it is called doesnt work either, but it may be too big. is there anything i can do because buying a new tube would prolly not make a difference.any advice is appreciated. thanks, Mike.
'86 Black/red two-tone Honda Spree, pretty much stock.
That airleak could be problematic. Either buy a new part or seal it with epoxy or black urethane. You can get little tubes of either at hardware stores or auto shops.
