carb question on 1985 spree
would i have to have a good battery for the electric choke on the carb to work even if im trying to start it with a drill ( using the flywheel )

The bystarter (choke) is run by AC volts from the alternator (stator).

they start up perfectly with a drill, just don't be stupid and use an impact like the guy that bought my old spree tried to do.
If it don't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.
