The upper stud has like a flange around it or something, making my Goshi pipe not sit flush.
How hard is it to remove/replace this?

easily.
put 2 nuts on the end of the stud and turn the inner one causing the whole stud to come out.
actually, when i was working on my aero80, its nuts were rusted on, so getting the whole stud out and going to ace and getting new ones was pretty easy.
edit: or if you're just going to replace them w/ different studs... use a dremmel, make a slot, screwdriver.
