Need bearings part numbers

Post by axo »

Please help... im looking at the schematics to order a bearing or two but im kind of confused y the perspective of the graphics.
The drive shaft in my DIO AF18 engine got a little play so i want to install new bearings in it. It is the shaft that has the clutch and bell so to be clear.
I believe its got the bearing in the middle and another "blind" bearing inside the transmission case right?
So im looking at these 2:

n 34: http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorc ... 7#sch87680

and

n 17: http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorc ... 7#sch89257

Do you know the part numbers for these? and am i looking at the right ones?

Thanks a lot.

That is the biggest problem with Bikebandit in addition to the shipping, they use their own part numbers instead of Honda part numbers.

Look here,

You are aware that almost all bearings are a standard item and you can go to your local bearing warehouse and get the bearing for half the cost or less. Just take your old one in.

Yeah, back when I raced boats the two bearings in the gearcase that go beat up allot were $25 each from Mercury, less than $6 each from the local bearing house. Manufactures make tons of money on parts. One winter day I was bored with nothing to do (waiting for parts), I added up what it would cost to buy all the parts for a 9.9 hp motor, Over $8,000, when you could buy an assembled, running motor with warranty, for just shy of a $1,000. Of course a lot of parts were custom made by them but still, 8 times more???????
