Oil tank leaking

How to fix the problem, the leak is coming from oil tank sensor hole.. How to fix that?

I've had good luck with Goop. You need to clean the surface really well first.

Either the sender is the wrong one or the tank is bad. I would not be gooping anything on that sender as it could end up in the filter between the tank and pump. Could be a real problem.

ah I looked at again, the sensor or tank is loosen... I'm looking for one on ebay.. not sure what year and model that will fit on my 01 SR 50...

I have a question.. do I still use the oil tank when I have 75cc kit installed?

Oil tank = 1994 thru 2001 SA50 and 1993 thru 2000 SA50P.

Sensor = 1984 thru 1987 NB50 (Aero50), 1984 thru 1987 NQ50 (Spree), 1993 thru 2001 SA50 (Elite LX) and 1993 thru 2000 SA50P (Elite S).

You can run the pump if you want or not with the BBK.

I am trying to think which way I would go for.... $17 tank with sensor or try to glue sensor on?

maybe glue and use the hose clamp?

If you are trashing the tank anyway, you are only out whatever the glue cost it.

I've also been using Seal All a lot but we haven't had enough heat yet to really put it to the test.

I ended up buying $17 tank with sensor installed on ebay... I don't want to deal with leaking again.. so it will be good again, right now I wrapped the sensor with piece of latex glove, so nice to ride it again since August! I was lazy to buy rear inner tube and change it... did a few days ago...
