For one reason in particular: it has a kick start.
Sprees didn't have a kick start until the 86 model, but my VIN says its definitely a 1984.
Could someone have just added a kick start to the 84 engine?
Is there a way to find the exact engine year using the code stamped on it?
I ask because I'm wanting to replace my spark plugs and want to make sure I'm getting the right kind (or are they the same for all years?)
I know most parts are universal for the 84-87 models. Are there any parts in particular that are specific 84-85 or 86-87?
Thanks!
Landon
I suspect my 1984 Spree has an 1986 engine...

Look at the engine number on the engine, it will tell you what year the engine is.
