Nylon nuts are good but they do wear out. I prefer serrated nuts with blue loctite. Yes, red 'permanent ' loctite can be broke loose but you have to apply the additional torque to the assembly to do so.GSX1400 wrote:And what about a special washer or a "nylstop" bolt?

Thanks everyone for your replies. I decided to buy the SE50 motor. Got it put in this morning. I had to change the Stator wiring harness to match my SA50 which was easy and I used my intake off my SA50 since my carb was still connected to it. Got everything put together and it fired as soon as I hit the starter!!!!!!!!! after tuning the carb I could only get it to about 23mph. I put my keli variator and 9g rollers in and now Im at 35! I am wanting to put a BBK in it this winter! Any ideas what I should get and other upgrades?

The SE50 is pretty limited on upgrades. I have the malossi BBK, CT chrome intake, 21mm OKO Carb, ruckus variator, and Leo Vince sp3 exhaust. It rips pretty d*** good. I can easily get to 45. 50 with a hill. If I get the gears I'm sure I would be doing even better.
