No spark after ride

So I swapped a bmx stem and handle bars on my 88 elite last night. Test rode like a champ and when I got back onto my lift it wouldnt start again. I checked the coil and cdi. Not the problems. So does anyone have the tests for the alternator and stator? That would be my only other guess. It makes compression but no spark at all.

The most likely problem is a wire has come loose or grounded during the ride. What have you done with the "kill-switch" wire ?

i moved the kill switch down onto the dash plastic. I also moved my high low beam down too. Dont have electric start so no reason for the button.

So check my battery and started going through the whole system. Battery is sitting at 16.5 volts. Could that be my problem? What would cause that?
