se50 bad bearings or crank?

hey guys just got my "running" engine from ebay... turn out it spins freely then hits a spot where it binds, it can be pushed past this binding point.. im trying to see what would cause this? the piston and bore look great.. thanks

Is the mag/flywheel off?

ok no flywheel puller or puller in sight- not sure where it is-but the something insdie the stator is binding- i can see where it is rubbing- assuming something went horribly wrong with my ebay A++ guarantee engine

sounds about right swimming, now hopefully someone has a working one for me so i can get my project on the road
