the cdi has a timing curve( i thing ) so the question is if i was to long gate the hole on the pickup wood it help me get more rpm like in a old car... im saying about 1 or 2 degrees ?????
im sure you racing guys have try it ...

Honda already up'd the timing for a low rpm stock setup. At 17 deg its a lot already. Unless your going to run race gas. Your going to run into engine knock or ping issues. If your motor is going to rev higher. You don't want a high timing advance. Your just asking for a hole in the piston. In a car as the rpms go up the ignition auto retards so it doesn't knock or ping

They make an offset key to go into the flywheel but as Baka said, your asking for trouble.
