Bent motor/suspension mount?
not sure where this is coming from - if its the mount to the frame, or if the crank case is bent - any help is appreciated!

Re: Bent motor/suspension mount?
Hi!
We will need more info to help with a correct diagnosis...
IMO I'd start checking:
bent rim
mounting areas to the frame (engine mount/ shock mount)
^do you see any signs that these were modified? Some modifications when done improperly will cause misalignment.
I would also check to see if there is any obvious signs that the moped/scooter has been laid down? or crashed? scuff marks on the plastics?
It may be a great idea to take off all the plastics so that it's easier to see what's going on...

Re: Bent motor/suspension mount?
The first place i would check is the mounting point of engine to frame.
Different models have different methods of mounting, but most are very similar.
My Elite 80 has slight condition same as yours.
Either something is bent or wore out.
Inspection is the key to finding the precise cause...

Re: Bent motor/suspension mount?
thanks for the replies. no damage, no mods....rim is straight....i can only assume the mounting point between motor and frame is either bent or worn out, but since no one knows of this being a consistent issue, i'll dig into it.

Re: Bent motor/suspension mount?
I've seen this happen on elite 80's. All had bent/twisted engine mounts. Frames were fine.
