Honda Pal SY50MN

Post by abdullahsadiq7 »

Hello everyone!
I recently purchased a Honda Pal. It says "SY50MN" on the underseat label. I cannot find any service manual for this model.
Please help as I am new to all this. Any help would be appreciated.

The SB50 is the US version of the Pal. You can find the manual at this link:

I hope this helps. :)

This is ok but there is another problem. When I release the throttle, the wheel moves forward after some time and during that time there is a loud noise. Please tell me what is the problem in your opinion.
btw the sound is louder than normal while working also.

unsure because we need more information. what type of noise is it? If you can describe the noise, does it sound like metal to metal grinding?

If you can locate where the sound is coming from, that would be helpful as well... is it coming from the front wheel? rear wheel?

If you know how to take and post a video, or a link to a video that shows the noise, that would be the best to help others try to help...

loud noises are often just the brakes, or some part that will rattle/wiggle and banging into another part.

i just got it checked from the local honda workshop but they do not have the parts. the man there says that the clutch plate as well as the muffler needs to be replaced.

Greetings:

The Honda shop probably knows there's no "clutch plate". They survive on price markup selling parts. The muffler may be clogged with carbon, but you can fix that with a bonfire. The dealer cannot.

Another thing I wanted to ask you guys is that there is a lot of white smoke from the exhaust. What is this and how to solve the problem?
I have also noticed that when there is smoke I feel that the performance is very less as compared to before.
