Im doing all my maintenance over the winter here in Ohio and wondered how many miles most get from a drive belt?
I did a search on here and didnt find anybody posting how many miles they got from one.
I currently have 7,000 miles on my elite 80 and its original. I saw in the service manual there is a spec for checking one but just curious how many miles other guys are getting on them.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: 07 Honda Elite 80 Drive Belt Question
Greetings:
Reflex 250 riders report 10K miles or more. My concern isn't just mileage and wear, but the actual chronological age of the rubber. Tires get "weather-checked" (actually Ozone deterioration) in 5 years. Although not exposed like tires to sun and weather, I wouldn't run any belt much longer than that.
