issues...

Post by oncewaslost1982 »

Well I am having a couple issues with my spree. I at random times will lose all pulling power and then it will come back on the next run. I have cleaned the carb thoroughly. Also I cannot get the spree to stay idling no matter how high I set the idle. It will just shut off when I slow down to a stop. Any suggestions on either of these will be most appreciated.

It's definitely in your idle circuit.
Must be fully removed and whistle clean.
By-starter must also be operational.
Good luck.

What I meant was the idle and choke in the carb. It sounds as if is clogged.

this has an automatic hoke on it doesnt it? What does the choke look like inside the carb? I disassembled the carb and cleaned it before all this started. I dunno. Thanks.

i cleaned my carb first too, but apparently the holes in the adjustment screws (are those the jets?) are too small, u need to clean them out with a wire or somethin really thin. i had to pay a guy $50 to do mine cuz i didnt know what was wrong with it. hope this helps.
