I just bought an Iowa model spree, it ran fine but after letting it sit for few days I took it out and rode it around the block and it began to almost choke itself out. The exhaust was puttering and it died out. When I got it restarted it only would go 5 mph. I recharged the battery and it fired up but then died out right away. Now the starter goes and it wont fire up!! Please help this newb. :cry:

Check your spark plug, and tank for rust. I'm betting you got some crud in the carb, which means you'll need to remove it and clean the main and idle jets. D/l the service manual and read up on how to clean the carb in tech docs.
