Greetings:

Add an air filter element and possibly tires to the list.

New air filter went on today. I drilled out the exhaust and I can get to 27mph now. Seems kinda slow still considering I drilled it out.

check rollers for flat spots and belt for width. dont know if the 99 came with the restrictor plate on the variator but if it did remove that as well.

Ill order new rollers and a belt tomorrow, Also my back brake seems to be sticky. I have to push it back after I use it. I guess I should order a one as well even tho it only has 1200 miles on it.

Greetings:

There's a little return spring that pushes the cam levrr back. It's easy to lose. Make sure It's there.
Otherwise sticky cable. Sometimes shoes so worn that the cam flips through. Buy a set and check it out like your life depends on it. It does.

Can you show me that return spring I checked on the parts diagram I think I found it. Looks like its 23, but I thought that was for the rear brake lock lever?

Greetings:

No it's back at the rear wheel. Not the cable, but the little arm it pulls. See crankcase or rear brake diagram.

Well I got It to 37, I removed the exhaust washer and variator restrictor. I still have the stock main jet in so its parked till I get the larger one in. My dealer said it will be here Monday. When I put in the larger jet will it get me into the 40mph range?
