Thanks for the pic! Is that pipe better for stockish engines or modified? I have a SSS Slick Willy on my SE50 I really like.

Already gone. If you look you can find plenty of pipes for these motors. There all out there somewhere. That polini pipe is actually designed for a specific bore, so it's not that great of a pipe unless you have that bore. Sometimes I find old stuff in people's inventory. If someone is looking for something for these motors pm me, I've got some experience in em.

Thanks for the responses. So after comparing the pipe on his bike to the pics, it's definitely the unrestricted one. So I'm going take it from the top and put the stock weights back and a fresh Polini belt and see where that gets us. He said it creeps up to 40 on a flat but takes like 30 seconds or so to get there, after the variator. So I'm betting the fresh belt and stock weights will be the winning ticket.

Have you ever tested it with a different bore?

You did. How did it work out? According to the info i was able to find on it, its meant for a 65-70cc cylinder.

I've run a polini cast iron cylinder on this motor and an airsal aluminum nikasil cylinder on my previous motor. I personally liked the airsal better, but the polini has lasted FAR longer.
