I'm gonna try that out next weekend, I'm in the middle of another move , we all know how much fun moving is
:imo: Too long of a hose would not cause the problem you are having.

Ben, I really think this is an electrical issue. I can send a couple of parts your way so you can troubleshoot, if you want.
I appreciate that, I will cross that bridge if I have to - I didn't think a long fuel hose would make a difference either since an engine is nothing more than a pump - but why would this get more fuel when tipped a certain way? Only 1 way to find out which is to cut that fuel line to exact size.

swapped in 52 pilot (up from 50) still running 125 main. Shortened my fuel line so it is direct into the inlet nipple. Still cutting out over bumps.

I bog pretty bad going from idle to getting on the throttle and nearly stall out if the bike is turning left or right from a stop

Once I'm on the throttle I'm great though and my temps are in a good range. Spiking at maybe 330 F

I might need to have someone send me a spare cdi here or maybe even a spare coil to see if that can at least eliminate my cutout on bumps issue.

does anyone think maybe too high of a float level can cause these symptoms?

aka the float is so high when I'm hitting bumps and or lean at low speed it somehow is dumping too much fuel into the intake causing a brief flooding state ?

If its electrical, it will die instantly. If its fuel it will bog and then die. Sounds like its electrical from your description. Get a rubber mallott and start tapping stuff. You probably have a bad connection somewhere. Or you have a short somewhere and your ignition is grounding out.

Bad coil? Or was this mentioned earlier?

I'm just going to have to suck it up and buy a new coil and cdi I think, I'll try a coil first by itself because that's not that expensive

I'm with you man. feel your pain
can't figure mine out either..

@ 1/4 throttle or less , a small bump will cause mine to want to die, and puff smoke out. idk if i'm losing spark or dumping fuel. tried wiggling every connection, hitting the coil.. nothing simulates the issue unless the rear of the bike is jarred . can pick the front up and drop it all day, and it won't die
@ full throttle it takes a good size bump/hole to affect it any

otherwise, it runs amazing (idle is a little screwy ) but it fires up cold immediately , and is very responsive at all speeds/throttle positions

So here is an interesting find

I started the moped up the other day on a pretty cold day, about 45-50 F ambient and I could only keep it running with the choke on. I only ran it down the street 2 times. Yes I know you should not ride with the choke on. But during this ride, I noticed it did not cut out AT ALL over bumps. (bumps it would normally cut out on)

Just ordered a size 60 pilot. I think my pilot circuit is just starved for fuel? Does that sound right to anyone? I am almost positive my coil and cdi are fine. My jetting during this run was 52 pilot and 125 main. Again I am running a 52mm Ruima BBK , PG typhoon, 26 mm oko
