Satisfied with your results I see....
Did you find any rust in the bowl ?
What do you believe changed this time to make the scoot run this good ?
The bike sounds great BTW, but might expect it to lose some uphill pull with the compression being kinda low.
I have not even checked compression on my Aero 50,
but when it stops pulling the front wheel, I'll look into it...
the clutch in mine hits very hard when cold...
Still looking for my first Elite 50...
Liking yours...
very nice videos, and yes, I caught that Thorogood remark.

Hi, I was lucky enough to find a NOS petcock from another brand than Honda. Maybe you can do a research with the sticker on the packaging :swflcarl wrote:I have the needle back to factory.... starts right up and is fine. But after about 30 seconds the fuel gets starved and it dies. I have the vacuum pegged due to a non-working petcock... searched for week and could not find one for the 85' it is special... just trust me on that one.

And if I beleive the tag, it should be a CPI scooter petcock, the model would be Tracker and MY 2000 thru 2003.
If it can help.

The petcock has 14mm fine threads.... bend over.
Again... I powered down with carb cleaner with an adapter tube on the pilot circuit bowl tube with the mix screw seated. Must of opened it up more... cause it was already clear.
* if I know... but I had to be the carb.
Thanks M.Mike and Pete in Daytona.

I'm more than happy to explain it to you. I'll even draw you a picture! But I can't understand it for you.
