brass cylinder

hey is that little brass cylinder around the pin in the bystarter to move freely cuase i tried to pul mine out and replace it with a newer one i got and that little sucker aint goin nowheres.( the engine was cold itf that makes a difference).

it should move in. its on a spring.

no the cylinder that the pin drops into should it come out easily?

does ne one have an idea on how to pull out he brass cylinder and free it up so it will move freely?

(im talkin about the thing in the bystarer that the pin is inside)
