Honda Part numbers

Post by axo »

Im trying to find the oil seals part number for my AF18 engine, but can not find a website like Bikebandit.com listing the parts.
This engine is from Japan and it is not supposed to be in the US honda database i guess.. but it was in Canada and Japan.
So do you know any website with a database for this engine?
I was looking at the AF16 parts but the description with the measurements of the seals do not match the ones i have here which are the same size on both sides.
I have a sticker inside the seat compartment with the SK50ML-I code if that helps with anything...
Thank you.

This site has models for various countries.
http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces- ... 0900-.html

Select the English/US flag from the home page, then try searching for your model.

Once you find the correct fiche you have to be sneaky to find the part number. Make a note of the part name, then open the souce code in your browser and search the source for that name. The Honda part number will be there without the dashes as a hidden form submit button.

Good luck - I could only find the post '92 models with the AF27 engine.

By the way, an AF18 engine Dio would be either SK50MJ or SK50MK model numbers!

What does the engine code at the rear of the transmission casing show?

Man you just made my stress of the past 3 days go away :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Ok.. so that website still does not have any AF18 or "SK50ML" (like my dio) listed in it BUT.. with the part number and specifications, i just confirmed that * bikebandit.com has a typo and that is why i got crazy and couldn't find the right numbers in it. Search bikebandit.com for "91201-GK8-003" and they list the seal with the numbers 15.6x23.5x7 instead of 15.6x25.5x7 like it is in all the other sites found by a google search.
VT cycles still not answering calls or replying emails so with the part number i can go tomorrow and just order the seals at the local Honda dealer and get my scooter finally running again!

Thank you man... you help me a lot.
