electrical...PLEASE LEAVE SOME IDEAS!!

Post by Mike »

okay, im pretty sure the battery isnt dead, but it wont start unless i hook the battery up to a jump pack. soooooo i started it up with the jump pack to let the spree charge up the battery with the alternator for about 5 minutes, and the turd still wouldnt start by itself.

WOULD THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT,

i was tightening up a bolt on the exhaust and the ratchet hit the place where the fuse should be (rigged) and it started to spark. Is it possible that the little spark could have wasted all the batterys energy???
PLEASE HELP ME, ID APPRECIATE IT ALOT

no. check your battery fuse, then trickle charge the battery overnight. If that doesn't solve your problem, you need a new battery.
projects galore :nerd:

5 minutes idling won't charge the battery. Most cycle's don't even charge below 2500 RPM. Buy a cheap .5 to 2 A 12V charger.

okay, i brought the battery to charge at my class in school and now it works good, so it probably died from the lights being on.
