So reassembling my scooter I over tighten the short bolt going into the carb. If I leave the spacer out I can just throw a nut on the end of the screw. Would it be okay to leave it out or no?

Re: Carb to intake space
longer bolt?
leave the spacer. it is a thermal barrier and should be there.

I use nuts on my carb bolts with the spacer in.
PS3 it only does everything.
Re: Carb to intake space
i stipped the thread on the carb on the long bolt in the end i just tapped the carb holes from the stock 6mm to 7mm got some new bolts and thats it back up and riding again havent had a issue since altho i use a mini tourqe wrench now so i dont over tighten the bolts on anything
