spree wont start or on come

I hooked up a battery but the light dont come on and it does nothing when i hit the start. The thing will run if the kick starter wasnt worn on the inside but I am able to start it with a drill and socket. When I got it the fuse was a tiny little thing that was covered with tin foil I replaced it with a larger fuse but still nothing.

The headlight only comes on after start. Is the taillight coming on?

Are you pulling on the brakes while hitting the start button?

No the tail light doesnt come on at all

I dont really know what to do at this point. Also yes I am hittng the back break lever when i press the start button. Where do I go from here noiseguy?

Start working through the wiring harness, going from the battery out to where it quits working with a 12v voltage check light. Other than checking your chassis grounds (refer to manual), electrical problems require extensive troubleshooting.

just curious,is the back lite suppose to come on when the key is in the on position,or does it come on afteer the scooter is started like the headlight cause mines dosent come on either.(brand new battery but old relays(in the works of some ew ones and a rectifier i think its called).

The tail light on my elite lights up when turned to the ON. But the headlight only comes on when the bike has started.
