Is this Spree clutch toast?

Post by Kikwear »

I really hate being away from home and all my tools. Based on these pictures, would you say that the clutch shoe material is basically gone? The scooter will accelerate the tire on the stand but when I get on, I have to pedal my feet to get it going and even then, it's pathetic. The scoot has 2790 miles and as far as I know, is original. Currently, the lowest price I've found on a set of shoes is $32.16 from ServiceHonda. Is that about right or are there other deals I'm missing out on? Thanks. I just ordered my Piaggio (p/n 5613) springs from LeoVince today and I'm trying to get it all together so I can ride it for once.

How much material should it have? Anyone have pics of a new set of shoes for comparison?

I picked them up through Service Honda among other things. Can't wait to get it going.
