Dimensions of piston?
I am looking for the dimensions of the piston for the NQ50 and SA50. I order a new piston kit for my Zuma and received the wrong piston and rings. Pictures are a plus, please include weight in grams if possible. Somehow I ended with a 40.50 piston and rings stamped 1.50 over. If the dimensions match I'll bore your cylinder to match the piston for a reasonable price. To clarify the piston I have is 40.50. Trafficjamz can you hook me up?

Re: Dimensions of piston?
'94 up Elite SA50 is 39.0mm piston, 12mm pin. Spree, SB50, variated AF05 engines - Aero50 (85-87), Elite SS and SA50 to '93 are 41.0 mm stock pistons, 10mm pin.

Re: Dimensions of piston?
Great info mousewheels. Mine is a 10mm piston boss. What I'm looking for is the height of the piston. And the Spree is 41.00mm also. Dose this look like a Honda piston? The one on the right.

Re: Dimensions of piston?
Hmm...Pin looks low for a Honda Spree or early SA50 with a 10mm pin. Top of pin to top edge of piston is about 0.575"

Do you have a picture of the Elite s piston?
I ordered from Autotech355 on ebay. Carlos sent me a new kit and I get to keep the wrong kit.

Re: Dimensions of piston?
I was measuring from the top of the crown when I had 24.50mm. I believe we have now measured in the same location and came up with equal numbers. If our numbers are correct I'll say these are the same piston.

Wow that is weirdmousewheels wrote:You guys took nearidentical photos. Wee bit of scaling and we have this
My piston only weighs 58.2 grams. Yours is 64.5 grams. I wonder why that is?
I hope you use that scale to weigh other peoples bags

Awesome!mousewheels wrote:You guys took nearidentical photos. Wee bit of scaling and we have this
I think it weighs more because it's bigger?
I weigh lots of things on that scale. Like pistons, my pre-mix oil and rollers to name a few.
