WOO HOO aww....

ALright over the weekend i got a new engine and installed it... well the oil system was dry so i ran a little gas through that was pre mixed and it ran fine. then i noticed it was smokin a LOT so i figured the oil pump was now workion. so i syphoned the rest ( or most of it out) out of the tank. well it ran for a bit but now it will just start and run fine idleing but if you try and ride it it dies. the motor will run fine sitting up on its stand thing ( so back wheel turns freely) but if you put i8t down and try to ride it it dies immediatly. i took off the carb and cleaned it and im 99 percent sure its spick and span. ( light thru main jet and carb cleaner sprays f4reely through rest of holes) what should i do?? also when im riding it if its at full throttle andf im tryin to ride it it will go for like 2 seconds then cut out then run for li ek a half second then die then run for a half second and quit ultimately..... HELP ME!!!!

My guess is either a fouled plug or plugged idle jet... is it still a Spree engine?

well the plug was real wet so i pulled it out and dried it off then sanded it down a bit. i can see light through the big jet in the middle of the carb.

A clean plug is not an unfouled plug. Change it and report back.

o btw it is the exact same motor that was in the old ones. i took parts from my old transmission and carb etc and put it on this one. alright ill try the spark plg thing thanks a ton

yeah i did i also replaced the carb my friend jacked up by puttin the long screw in the chort screw hole. i actually got 2 now cuase i got one and then the new motor came with one on it 2

Good carbs go for $40+ in the spring on Ebay, you know.

Check for blue spark on the new plug, but I think the plug will fix it if the idle jet's clear.

is the idle jet the small hole beind the main jet? and can shoul u normally be able to see light through it?
