Does anyone have a pic showing which is the idle mix screw on a 85 spree? Im having a hard start problem where it takes like 5 minutes of cranking to get it to fire over.
I tried starting fluid and it helped a little but not much. Im going to pull the by starter and check it later today.
Which one is the idle mixture screw?

Okay, that one flathead screw, dead center, that's your idle mix... screw it all the way clockwise (gently, no need to gorrilla it down), then back it out...
On my bike, it's 1 and 1/4 turns... Yours may differ. If you're having trouble keeping track of how many turns you've gone, put a gob of grease on the top of your screwdriver, and count how many times it goes round.
The screw just up and right from there sets the throttle closed position. You can see that it has a little spring over the threads of the screw.
If you screw it all the way in (clockwise), it will hold your throttle wide open. The farther you back it out, the more "closed" it leaves your carb when you're not twisting the throttle. This will also affect your idle rpm... If you screw it all the way in, it's as if you've got your throttle open a third of the way.
