the header pipe is not long enough and the belly is way to long. with the fast taper, you loose torque.
Nothing like getting stroked!

bakaracer
head pipe is the stock pipe split in hafe all the way to the head wedge open to meat up with ..the belly is 2 1/8 id pipe thick exhaust pipe hate the tine sound i like a little base in the pipe ..
grate info so if i redo and make it a longer tapper it will help the torque i will do that how far back should i go??? what about the tip 3/8 or ??

all input is good no matter what
and no books were use to build this pipe i like the dust to stay were it is
thanks one and all

I think the header pipe is fine but agreed that this pipe is too long. Run it and see how it does... but I expect that you'll find it launches OK and kind-of peters out at 15-20 MPH.

Actually, if you get rid of that silver-shiny bit and put it back to the stock length, I think it'd be about right.

Here's a Highway Speed Pipe. Note the length. Silencer/stinger length doesn't matter / doesn't change the pipe properties. Only the distance from the piston to the silencer matters, as well as the transitions and diameter of the rest.

grate in put
i think you could be right i will cut the length some ..
but how will be able to tell if it helps it or not it wont Double the hp or through me back in the seat i wood think that if it was perfect i mite pick up 1/4 more HP and a few more reeves ..
what about the tip should i go bigger then the stock 3/8 inside diameter to lets say 1/2 it wood be smaller then the port but lager then the stock.. in my head wood still have some back pressure but not as munch as a stock and mite allow it to reeve higher = more speed
thanks for the photo noiseguy it helps allot

There are several tools for doing this work posted on the board. Look in Adv Tech Docs. Start reading.

Stinger diameter should be 12mm (1/2") for a 50cc bike. Downtube of up to 25mm (1"). Belly diameter? 50-100mm (2"-4"). Length determines tuned RPM (powerband). Longer belly in pipe = broader powerband. Shorter belly = more tuned powerband.
