87 Spree is the elite carb interchangeable with a non elite?

Post by berreta22 »

I was wondering about the interchange of a elite carb being able to work on my non-elite spree. 1987 is the year for both.

No, don't change the slides (thing that goes up and down), swap the whole thing. You may need to bump the main jet down going from Elite to Spree.

Let us know what the main jet is and how it runs when it's all hooked up, and we can go from there.
