If I suck on the bottom line, it will let some air through so then if i blow and then suck i usually don't get any air. so i would say sometimes(if it is dry in there it shuts every time, but if there is some gas in it it will not shut all of the way so i blow it out and its fine)

i'm sure i put the carb together correctly. I remember cleaning the petcock the one day and now it hasn't worked since. It's fine to use about 50psi to blow in it through out the whole petcock isn't it ?

No, it's not OK. Did you blow 50 PSI through the vacuum pickup? If you did, that's likely your problem. If so, gas will be pouring out through the lower petcock connection (vacuum) when you pull the hose.

as much as I want a used one, we don't buy over the i/n...thanks anyway myspree..and thanks for all the input with my problem :D

I'm just hoping a local guy has a petcock, I got lucky and got a muffler when I needed it. I remember it took him a few days to find it for when I needed it last year, since he has the parts and wrecked mopeds in a large barn. I should check out his mopeds. He said he had a few razzs and some hondas that were in crashes and fires, it would make a fun project. This was last year though so I probobly wouldn't get so lucky.

well I really don't know what i'm going to do at this time. I can't get ahold of the guy and since I don't have $50 or don't buy off the i/n the spree is just going to sit for awhile . I'm kinda hoping if I get ahold of the guy he still has some old mopeds that look nice but don't run because for all I know they could just have really dirty carbs or something I'd even get a few junk ones to mix and match parts onto the better looking one. I can only hope.
