CDI question

Is the CDI from an 86' Spree the same as the one on an 87 Elite? In otherwords, are they interchangable?

I am pretty sure they are all interchangeable, someone correct me if I am wrong. I am running an 87 elite engine off my 87 spree CDI.

yes they will work fine. No worries on the cdi swap.

Honda says they are the same part number for both scooters.
