Oil injection flow on 2000 Elite 50
2000 Elite 50. Smokes more noticably than my Spree or Yamahopper. Why? How to check the flow rate? What is the correct rate? About the same as a 50cc Spree or Aero? Is the flow rate adjustable or fixed? Any ideas appreciated. Mike

... OK, and back to the problem at hand.
I thought the 94+ Elites had a 2-pc throttle cable and an adjustable oil pump? If so, see if the last guy wired it open.
Also, are you running MC 2-stroke injector oil? Should be red, green is usually premix and smokes more and isn't good for the engine in general. If that's the stuff in there, dump it and clean it all from the system.
