won't stay running

i have a 86 spree and it will not stay running unless i have full throtle i have cleaned the carb and put all new gaskets in it the carb is also leaking out of the down spout in the back can not figure it out any help would be great and thanks

adjust your idle and air mixture screws per instructions, thats most probably the problemo

leaking out of a tube coming from carb? that is carb bowl drain, there is a screw at bottom of carb, should be tightened all the way snug

i had this carb soaking in parts cleaner tank for a week then took a air comp to it everything is allowing air thru it and for the bowl drain tube the screw is in all the way

if it ant ajusted right it could be geting tooo much gas and draning out the bottom

try a new spark plug thats what happend to mine and it runs great now

Try adjusting the needle. I had a similar problem and I moved the needle down 1 notch (running a little richer) and I readjusted the throttle stop and fuel screws and it fixed my problem.

ok there might be a hose on the back for your carb that goes to theupper half of the bowl take it off if there is one and see what happens my friends had one and wouldnt run unless it was full throtle then when it started it would die

if it wont idle i got 3 words ...... idle ajustment screw.
