1986 Spree Oil Tank electrical connections?

Hi

I bought a used 86 Spree and was doing some cleaning on it and took off the green oil tank wires and forgot what wire goes on what post?
One wire is all green and the other is green with a red stripe?
What wire goes on the post toward the front of the Spree!! HELP!!
Not sure if it is working now!

Help ASAP

on my spree i haveone connecter with 2 green wires off it and the other connecter is green and red like you stated. look on the black rubber piece that the wires go to...on it it should say japan..the green/red wire goes on the terminal closest to the japan name.
