You'll probably want to download the service manual - it will have info on the belt (section eight) and will also have routing and other info on the throttle cable.
Here is the link: http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewto ... ?f=11&t=37
You'll also find many posts on this forum describing the process if you search. This is worth doing - there are some basic hints to make it easier.
Everyone on this forum seems to have their own favorite oil but most would agree that Honda GN2 is a fine choice. Use the injector version to put in the oil tank when using the injector pump. Use the pre-mix version when pre-mixing with fuel in the tank.
Good luck

Re: info needed about a 1985 honda spree nq50
Couple more comments:
1) The service manual suggests a universal holder to hold the clutch bell while removing the nut. A strap wrench also works well.
2) The service manual instructs you to remove the outer drive pulley nut by holding the flywheel (which keeps the crankshaft from turning). There are also several tools which will hold the drive pulley outer face while turning the nut - this may be safer by putting less stress on the crankshaft.
3) When putting the belt on the clutch and then putting the clutch back on, using something to wedge the clutch pulley apart temporarily while installing will provide some slack in the belt and make the process much easier.
4) Be sure not to damage the spindles on the crankshaft when installing the drive pulley outer face and tightening the nut. Make sure the outer pulley is on the spindles correctly before tightening (this is where the extra slack in the belt is helpful).

Re: info needed about a 1985 honda spree nq50
ok thanks. and it looks like the oil i found can be used as both as it says injector/ premix on the bottle ?
Re: info needed about a 1985 honda spree nq50
I use PJ1 but I believe the GN2 injector oil does say injector/pre-mix on the bottle and should be fine. Maybe someone who uses GN2 will chime in and verify.
