Hi!
The bearings in the final reduction needs replacing.
My question is, anybody use c3 bearings here?
It's a DJ1R (87 Elite SE)
Thx!

Re: Bearings, C3 or not?
C3 generally reffers to the ammount of clearance the bearing inner dim play based on the bearing cage and race. A c3 fit bearing is the normal type of bearings on the market. A c5 fit bearing would be very loose and your wheel shaft would move around quite a bit. Different ratings are for different operating temps to shrink clearances at higher temps.
To answer this question, your bearing needs to fit the dims required and a c3 rating will be fine.
