wheel bearings 87 spree

i want to sand blast my wheels and repaint but i'm not sure how to deal with the wheel bearings. can anyone help me with this? thanks.

i taped mine when i painted them.

im more concerned about sand blasting getting into the bearings. also do you grease the bearings or are they wet sealed? and are there grease seals? I have new tires and these wheels are off a 87 parts bike.
