Okay, I've read and read and read even more boards. I've even spoke to a few Pros that have done it.
I still don't have a full grasp of this yet.
Everyone seems to have a different idea.

Many ways to go at this. Let me just run a few I've heard by.
  • Use a front end from a DD50 (with modifications to stem...)
Use a Met tree/stem (with modifications to stem...) and you can use most any NCY kit "type" of front end.
Use a Honda DIO LX Live setup tree/stem down (with modifications to stem...)
You will have to mod your head set panel so the master cylinder fit.
10" rims only.

*The Ruckus tree/stem doesn't fit without additional parts and still (with modifications to stem...)

What else? Give me some more ideas.

What about the Met tree?? That seems to me the easiest. .. plus lots of options??
Ruck option seems like too many things going on with something so important. ..

Good to know!

So a Ruckus Tree is the least evasive of the setups. AND, gives you probably the most options for rim/fork/brake setups

I'm trying to figure out a combo for the ruckus tree right now. Going to be expensive it's looking.

I got a HOOK up from a dealer buddy for some decent gear. Ive used RRGS before and it was great. I have also had a complete Frando front end. Sexy stuff.

Soooo, any pictures of the modded stem?
Are you just adding more to the stem? Cutting it lower (?) and/or welding the additional piece to it?

He probably doesn't want to just post pics of his work. I have a set and I can say for certain it's a great product. If he oks it ill post a pic but I don't want to put his stuff out there with out consent. I'm sure you understand working where you do.

I'm out of town with work but I can take a pic of the insides when I return. I just wanted to be sure you were ok with it.

Awesome! Sorry about pushing for pics. Graphite offered them up, so I was just following up.
Thank you very much for being so forthcoming with your work! Love the scooter community! #

Btw, I don't work there, they're just buddies. I'll probably be doing this myself.

does anyone know the particular dimensions of the dio stems?
i want to put a disk brake setup on a friends SA50 because he ruined his front end (cager blew a stop sign)

there a couple on webike, I'm just wondering if either of them are "plug and play"

Reference models for
DIO-SP (AF25)
SUPER DIOSR (AF28)
SUPER DIOZX (AF28)
http://japan.webike.net/products/2053661.html
or
Reference models for
LIVE DIOSR (AF34)
LIVE DIOZX (AF35)
http://japan.webike.net/products/2053662.html

or am i going to have to cut and lengthen a ruck one?
