'83 Aero 80 kick start help

hi everyone. I picked up an '83 Aero 80 last week and rode it a few times and the other day i decided to open up the cvt cover to check the belt width. When i took the cover off the kickstart came off. The gasket that was on it didnt allow me to see how the gear was on there. There is a little arrow engraved into the idle gear so i downloaded the manual but the pictures in there are pretty grainy. Was hoping someone that has one of these would know where the arrow needs to be postioned relative to the kicker gear. Thanks in advance!

The Aero80 manual shows position of the gear at disassembly and assembly. The Arrow is around 10'o clock in the second pic (assembly). However, in the first pic (before disassembly) the gear is rotated slightly more CCW.
