94 Honda Elite SA50

I hope I'm in the right section let alone website. I have a 94 honda elite sa50 and when I bought the thing the kid said that he had it rebuilt and it wouldn't start. Come to find out the head is on backwards. So I'm like * switch that around and it'll start. Nope. So I got new spark plug new wire with the thing on the end, cleaned the carb, cleaned the gas tank, got a new petcock thinking maybe it wasn't getting fuel ( pretty sure all the lines are clear ) and a few more little things I've done. Basically just trying all the cheap things first. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting a spark and dont know exactly where to start....

im sorry G9 but i hate the finger on the hole idea 20psi will blow past your finger but it aint gonna run with 20psi .No disrespect G9 but i think its better to Hire/Buy/Borrow a good compression tester .
