1987 Elite 50 Oil Pump help - Oil leaking

I already looked at a few of the other post concerning the pump issue and leaking oil. It looks like finding another pump
is the way to go.

The 2-stroke oil was leaking out of the carburetor. The intake manifold was full of oil. When I removed the oil pump, the
case was full of oil. It came pouring out and drained the oil out of the intake housing. Does this all sound right?

I'd like a better understanding of what's happening. Is the oil pump leaking oil around the shaft seal into the case and coming up into the carb. OR.... is the oil leaking into the carb and filling up the case?

The has been sitting for the past few months. Last year I ran at least every other day.

Does anyone out there have a pump?
