yes im still alive just been crazzzzzzzzzzy here ... not a lot of time to spare did not even put 30 miles on the scooter this summer ... dad broke his hip so been living with him and driving him here and there and to a * of a lot of doctor thing ... i do fine time to read some on the form but dont have time like i did ... but its getting better now dad running a lot better ...

What sharp eyes you have, Grandm... er, I mean, Graphie! How did you distinguish the Spree engine from the very-similar Elite "E"?

89 elite e sb50p. I say it has the correct engine. See the "round" in the kickstart cover over the drive face, and it has an elite e airbox.

There is a 1988 Elite ES first in line in my fleet photo.. for some reason, mine is a fast little bugger, and I haven't figured out why yet.. pegs the speedometer on level ground..

The dead giveaway to the ID is the fuel gauge on the back of the tank..

sounds like the one on craigslist might be soft siezing.. new piston, etc.. Carb doesn't look right to me.. shouldn't be able to adjust the air bleed screw, I think. Engine photo shows Rube Goldberg has been working on it..
