1986 Honda Spree - Nut for Seat Hinge

Post by 50cc4Me »

Hello!

Per the picture below, I am in need of a replacement for the nut that screws onto this bolt (circled in red). This is the assembly that hinges with the seat and holds it in. If someone could please let me know the size of the nut needed or where to find a replacement piece I would greatly appreciate it!

Greetings:

I don't currently own a Spree but from experience with at least a half-dozen scooters, I can tell you that Honda-san is very fond of an M6 (6mm, 10tpc) stud and a size 10mm Hex nut.

Nut size is M6x1.00. Very common size, any hardware or auto store should have them.
